(New) Perspectives on MHH

Dear All,
Starting this thread to populate articles written to bring more attention to MHH.

In this piece , Biswanath Sinha and Anjali Singhania (both from WaterAid India) propose the integration of menstrual health (MH) with sexual and reproductive health (SRH) since the former is a key aspect of the latter, and addressing menstrual health is essential for ensuring optimal SRH outcomes. It is particularly relevant for India due to its high MMR and maternal morbidity and the persistence of gender inequality. It is also relevant across South Asia due to the social stigma around menstruation and sexuality . Both are important health aspects for women, girls, transgenders, and non-binary individuals.
FYI swasth = healthy

I think this is an interesting and fresh perspective. However, the challenge of mainstreaming will only be multiplied due to even more stigma attached sexuality and everything related to sex.

Request members to please share relevant articles you write or come across.

Regards
