Thanks for your feedback and encouragement.
Yes, this is an exciting topic and we hope to bring more focus and experience on this in Tanzania, learning from other countries, and building towards more acceptance and clearer standards.

Yes, please do include the webinar link video, wherever you think it might get most views and attention.

Best wishes, keep in touch and we will continue to update on SuSanA further updates on our work in this area,

Re: Read about all the exciting faecal sludge re-use options

Hello Oliver,

Thank you for sharing the recorded version of the webinar. I got to see it and enjoyed how the presentations cut across an array of different re-use options. Beyond that, it was great to hear how presenters spoke about issues of standards and how at the moment efforts are being put in place to get to a place were specific standards are in place for FS products. Overwhelming representation from Kenya! I feel Kenya is ahead of many African countries in many aspects in regards to this topic and sets the pace for other countries to learn from. This is not only in relation to the various re-use options available within the Sanitation space in Kenya, but also in its advocacy and lobbying efforts to push the agenda on standards development forward. The discussions have started and that is an awesome first step.

I was also glad to hear how one of the presenters touched on the challenge of user acceptance and demythifying the use of FS products. This is the biggest hurdle yet and deserves a lot of attention to ensure that this becomes an even more lucrative venture.

Please allow me to include the webinar video link here directly for anyone who would like to access it in a single click:
