Re: Sanitation chair for disabled. Supplier
@Alfonso: We had very similar ones back when I was working with Handicap International in Pakistan. Try contacting them, I am sure they should know some suppliers in East Africa too (or more likely: how to import them from Pakistan or India).

Dear Alfonso,
The company Kentainers, which is based in Kenya(but I think also have offices in other countries in East Africa)have similar chairs for children and people with disabilities.
You could contact them. Check out their website: www.ramco-group.com/kentainers
Best regards,
Doreen

Hello all,
We are working in 'Usafi wa Mazingira Tanzania' (literally 'Sanitation in Tanzania'), a program which goals are to improve the sanitation on three selected districts by working jointly on three components: demand creation, micro-finance and sanitation marketing.
Related to the last one, we are researching on alternatives for disabled people.
I send you attached one photo of one interesting innovation that can be found in some bibliography. Does anyone knows who should we contact with to know if there is any supplier and/or to know how ot make it available to the communities in central Tanzania.
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards,
Alfonso
