We would like to welcome the INREM Foundation (India Natural Resource Economics and Management Foundation) from India as a new SuSanA partner organisation!

The following text is taken directly from their application form and was written by the partner organisation themselves.

Description:
INREM Foundation is a research institution probing societal issues concerning water, public health, agriculture and the environment. The institution develops innovative inter-disciplinary solutions and brings them into the wider domain of practice by participating with communities and government.

Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
On the subject of sanitation, our involvement has been mainly through research and reviews, especially through the linkages with groundwater contamination. INREM is the Secretariat for the 'Fluoride Knowledge and Action Network' in India which works on drinking water and health issues related to the problem of excess Fluoride in water.

Expectations in the Partnership:
We would first like to learn more on this subject and then see linkages with our core areas of work. Being new, we have a lot to learn from Susana and look forward to common issues related to water quality, nutrition and health.

Contribution to SuSanA:
We would like to contribute mainly from the areas of Water quality, health, nutrition, and groundwater linkages
