Introducing Neema Heap Limited as a new partner organisation of SuSanA (Kenya)

We welcome  Neema Heap Limited  from Kenya as a new SuSanA partner organisation!
The following text is taken from their application form and was written by the partner organisation themselves.

Description and Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
Neema HEEP is amicrofinance organization in Kenya. We work with BOP clients to improve their health, education and economic status. We provide sanitation loans to those who cannot afford to construct an improved toilet upfront. The clients then repay the loan in affordable installments while enjoying the benefits of the toilet. We also provide loans to self help groups of women in the soap making industry. The soap is sold to the toilet owners for hand washing. We provide loans to youth who make interlocking bricks for construction of the toilets. In so doing we create an ecosystem in the communities.
