We would like to welcome CN-CIEPA/WASH (Coalition Nationale de la Campagne Internationale pour l'Eau Potable et l'Assainissement Mali) from Mali as a new SuSanA partner organisation!

The following text is taken from their application form and was written by the partner organisation themselves.

Description and Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
The CN-CIEPA/WASH is the national coalition and umbrella organization of twelve civil society organizations-networks working on access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Mali. Among them labor unions, women’s associations, a journalist’s network and water user boards.

Major activities:
- interpellation of national and local authorities on WASH matters
- lobbying for the prioritization of WASH in the national budget
- promoting the human right to water and sanitation
- campaigning: sustainable water for all (SWA), WASH in Schools, awareness raising for
the importance of WASH e.g. on World Water Day, Global Handwashing Day and World
Toilet Day
- empowerment of the member organisations
- advocacy for gender
