Introducing ASHA from India: A new partner organisation of SuSanA
We would like to welcome the Association for Sanitation and Health Activities (ASHA) from India as a new SuSanA partner organisation!
The following text is taken from their application form and was written by the partner organisation themselves.
Description and Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
The Association for Sanitation and Health Activities (ASHA) is a Non Governmental Organisation(NGO) based in New Delhi. It works at a grassroot level to reach out to the most vulnerable and marginalised communities to empower them for their self reliance and contribute towards their social and economic upliftment. Since its inception, ASHA has been working mainly with communities in the remotest and backward regions of Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
