Call it unofficial if you want, but as more people and organizations get behind the idea, we can "speak it into existence".
There is no question that more people need to know about Black Soldier Fly larvae, especially since hundreds of millions of people could utilize them at home (or schools, churches, etc.) to keep waste out of landfills, even if their waste is impractical to collect and process into animal feed.  Plus there are still many people who raise chickens that have not heard of them . . . raise fish . . . feed song birds . . . have pets . . .
