International network for the SDGs: Linking quality of government and water and sanitation outcomes

The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is setting up an international network of researchers and practitioners from Sweden, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda to explore the implications of the quality of government on water and sanitation outcomes. The network focuses on research and outreach. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the type and quality of water and sanitation services in different contexts influence citizens’ perception of public and private service providers, their willingness to pay for services and participate actively in development.
