Behavioral Economics & social and behavior change communication (SBCC): Where do they fit?- Online discussion hosted by Springboard

Springboard is hosting an interesting discussion beginning Tuesday, September 13 on the topic of Behavioral Ecoomics and SBCC.

Info below:

Is Behavioral Economics (BE) a new paradigm for behavior change? If so, how does it differ from social and behavior change communication (SBCC)? Join Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP), USAID, Catalyst Behavioral Sciences and ideas42 for a three-day discussion around this topic. Moderators will both ask and answer questions about how BE and SBCC compare, contrast, complement and, potentially, conflict. Bring your thoughts and ideas on how these two approaches can shape the future of social and behavior change now until September 15.

The discussion will be moderated by:

- Hope Hempstone, Senior Behavior Change Advisor, USAID
- Dana Guichon, Vice President, ideas42
- David Neal, Founder and Managing Partner, Catalyst Behavioral Sciences
- Caroline Jacoby, Senior Program Officer, Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs

You can join the discussion here: healthcomspringboard.us6.list-manage2.co...074465f&e=767bb284cb.
