Hi everyone,
Today saw a great webinar with some useful insights about how sanitation practitioners like to access knowledge, develop and share information within the sector. There will be a delay getting the webinar up onto youtube but in the mean time here are the presentations. Feel free to ask any questions below and we will make sure the presenters get back to you.

SuSanA Webinar - Knowing the unknown: Capturing and using sanitation knowledge effectively, 25th July 2018, 1400 Stockholm time
Please join us for the next SuSanA webinar on 25th July 2018 at 1400 Stockholm time for 1.5 hours.
Recently there have been a range of activities being carried out to understand the wants and needs of actors in the sector in terms of capacity development and knowledge management. SuSanA plays a key role in this within the sanitation sector and has recognised the need to better understand the wants and needs of its users to be able to address these areas better. This webinar shares the findings of the SuSanA user survey carried out in 2016 and how these findings will be utilised within the platform.
At a similar time to SuSanA undertaking with study Solidarites International along with BORDA carried out a study among emergency WASH practitioners, specifically those working in FSM, to understand how they want to access information and share key findings. They will also share their findings and explain their activities going forward.
Using this information Working Group 1, Capacity Development, will then share what they are working on within SuSanA to support capacity development and knowledge management within the sector. This webinar will be interesting and useful not only to members of SuSanA but anyone wanting to get some ideas about how to target their knowledge management activities.
Speakers:
Shobana Srinivasan (SuSanA) – Understanding the Knowledge Management and Capacity Development needs of SuSanA’s stakeholders
Emmanuelle Maisonnave (Solidarites International) – Sharing of the preferences of FSM practitioners around dissemination of guidelines
Dorothee Spuhler (SuSanA's WG 1 on Capacity Development) – Plans for WG1 on SuSanA to better address capacity development needs of users
The webinar will last 1.5 hours with each speaker fielding questions after their presentation and time for discussion at the end.
You can register for the webinar here - www.susana.org/en/webinarregistration
We look forward to seeing you there.
