Fundraising effort by the 'Resource-based Sanitation' group (as part of a MOOC on Social Entrepreneurship by Copenhagen Business School)
Dear members of SuSanA,
I am taking a Massive Open On-line Course (MOOC), "Social Entrepreneurship", offered by Copenhagen Business School, a as a way forward of what I learned during the Singapore BoP World convention during which we had the 'Global Sanitation Business Matchmaking' (bopworldconvention.org/sanitationbusinessmatchmaking.html).
Participants to the course are asked to form groups according to their interest and take part to the 7-day challenge (class.coursera.org/socialentrepeneur-001.../The_7-day_challenge) as an assignment of this week. The challenge is a fund raising campaign in support of the CBS Social Entrepreneurship Start-up Fund for a winner project at the end of the course.
In a group of 12 MOOC participants from different countries and professional background, we opted for social "Resource-Based Sanitation' (www.betternow.org/dk/en/resourcebasedsanitation) as our project. Our mission is to create a suitable social business in resource-based sanitation with the objective to improve sanitation using cheap and valuable methods.
On the group behalf, I invite you to support us to ‘win’ this week challenge by raising $2000 in 7 day. Please note that we only one day to go. The fund to raise will be in support of CBS Social Entrepreneurship Start-up Fund, which a winner project initiated by a group of participants will receive at the end of the course. The ‘Resource-Based Sanitation' group will work hard to win. Please click the following link to make your contribution: www.betternow.org/dk/en/resourcebasedsanitation.
Gratefully yours,
