Dear all,
For anyone with an OK internet connection and a little bit of spare time this Saturday: please put it in your agenda to attend online at least a part of the SuSanA meeting via the live streaming!
I did it last year and it was a real pleasure. I didn't manage the whole Saturday but some hours of it. If needed, you can also multi-task, i.e. watch the meeting and also have lunch with your kids etc.
Questions and comments can be posed on twitter with the hashtag #20susana.
Whilst the meeting will also be recorded, there is a special "something" about attending it live - it is much more fun than merely watching the recording later.

Please advertise the live stream link as soon as possible and generally advertise the option of attendance via the live streaming on all SuSanA channels (twitter, facebook, forum - perhaps even an e-mail going out to all members? Or e-mail to the working group with the biggest mailing list?). It is easy to miss as it's on a Saturday... (and I guess many people won't have access if they only have access to broadband internet from their work computers; that's a disadvantage for having the SuSanA meeting on a Saturday).
Please also make sure that people are aware of the camera, that they look into the camera from time to time and that they acknowledge the "internet audience" (also by re-iterating the names of the persons speaking; e.g. for people who tune in later) - I hope there will be a few of us "virtual participants"! I firmly believe this is the way of the future to cut down on CO2 emissions and travel costs. See here about a previous thread regarding air travel to conferences:

As space in the WG Meetings is limited (due to the room restrictions of the World Water Week) it is necessary to register for the WG Meetings!

a first draft of the agenda of the 20th SuSanA meeting on 22 August is now available .
We are happy to have great speakers that will join our meeting and give input on various topics: Sessions are planned on Cities and Planning, Sanitation and Nutrition, Market Development, Knowledge Management and Political Processes.
On 27 August we will have an open workig group exchange in which all wokring groups that meet in Stockholm will give an update about their activities and in which we will have some time to discuss strategic topics relevant to all working groups.

with the impressions from the 19th SuSanA meeting in Dakar still in mind, the planning for the next meeting are already under way:
The 20th SuSanA meeting will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, the 22nd of August prior to the Stockholm World Water Week 2015.
We intend to have a live stream of the meeting for the members of the SuSanA community who are unable to attend.
More details will follow soon here in this thread and in the events section !
