Child development, environmental cleanliness and sanitation and hygiene (Desk-based study consultancy)

The Sanitation Learning Hub at the Institute of Development Studies is seeking to commission a desk-based study exploring the interlinkages between environmental cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene practices for improved child development outcomes.

This will require a review of existing academic and grey literature and guidance documents and programming around sanitation and hygiene, environmental cleanliness and child development including BabyWASH, nutrition and more emerging academic disciplines like One Health.

How to apply

To be successful you will need:
  • Extensive experience of undertaking research in WASH and/or nutrition
  • Experience of working on cross-cutting topics
  • Knowledge around the links between sanitation, nutrition and childhood development
The Hub is offering up-to 25 days for this review. The call is open to individuals or small teams of experts.
