GIZ Bolivia Vacancy: Consultant for vocational training and further education in a water supply and wastewater disposal company (EU Citizens only)

- This job advertisement is for EU citizens only -

The GIZ Programme “PERIAGUA III”  is looking for a full-time Consultant to support the vocational training and further education in a water supply and wastewater disposal company in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

Job Location: Santa Cruz de la Sierra / Bolivia

Contract duration: May 2021 – March 2023

The PERIAGUA III water program implemented by GIZ supports the Bolivian water sector in introducing theoretical-practical (dual) vocational training. Initially, two two-year training courses (wastewater technology and drinking water technology) oriented on the dual system are planned, each focusing on the operation, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater technology facilities. Curricula for these courses have already been developed. The operational training part is to be carried out in a selected water supply and wastewater disposal company (WVU), the theoretical part in a local vocational school. Both institutions are to be supported in setting up appropriate training units (in-company and school-based), developing further vocational training courses for company personnel, testing the curricula, equipment, training of trainers, etc.
