WSUP Consultancy Call: Situation analysis of the urban sanitation sector in three countries (Bangladesh, Ghana and Kenya)
Situation analysis of the urban sanitation sector in three countries (Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya)
Budget: Up to £50,000 including expenses and all taxes inclusive of VAT
Release date: 3 November 2016
Deadline for bids: Thursday, 17 November 2016 at UK 2400 hours
WSUP’s Evaluation, Research and Learning (ERL) team is looking for a Consultant to produce high-quality situation analyses of the urban sanitation sector in three countries (Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya), primarily on the basis of detailed literature review and skype/email consultation. The main deliverables will be three written documents, each of around 15 main-text pages, produced to publication-ready standard with strong attention to readability and clear layout. Anticipated day allocations are generous to allow for high-quality work; bidders will be required to convincingly demonstrate how they will achieve a product with high levels of accuracy and cogent analysis. This is an urgent contract, with start-up required as soon as possible (ideally November 2016) and significant first-phase deliverable by 15 January 2017. Participation in one-day workshops in each of the three countries, in February 2017, will be required. Final reports will be required by 30 March 2017. In recognition of tight timelines, bid format has been designed to be simple and non-onerous. Budget will be up to GBP 50,000 inclusive of all costs (including travel expenses) and all taxes inclusive of VAT.
Please send bids (as per format indicated in Terms of Reference) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by Thursday, 17 November 2016 at UK 2400 hours. We are very happy to respond to clarification queries of any sort prior to bid submission, before UK 1000 hours on Wednesday 16th November (though certainly we would expect to receive most clarification queries earlier than this).
Please see the WSUP website for more details including the full Terms of Reference.
