As part of delivering on this ambition we wish to recruit a Research Fellow with capabilities aligned to the Group’s emerging interests to support both teaching and research. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver pioneering research that changes water and sanitation thinking and practice. You will join a leading provider of progressive educational and research support for international development, delivered through ground breaking collaborations with the private and public sectors. You will have a PhD or equivalent degree in a field related to water engineering with particular emphasis on applications in low income settings (or associated subject), a track record of winning and delivering research projects sponsored by both the public and private sectors, a peer-reviewed publication track record on WASH topics and experience of teaching and supervision at post-graduate level. Your experience should have provided you with a close understanding of the contemporary challenges facing the WASH sector and practical knowledge of the design and implementation of WASH interventions. We are looking for someone with excellent oral and written communication skills who is comfortable and confident dealing with senior colleagues and research sponsors.
