Title : Consultancy for Improving Fecal Sludge Management in Kachin State
Reference : SRH02377



This Expression of Interest solicitation is open to all eligible consultants, in accordance with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL recruitment procedures.

The objectives of this consultation are:

To perform a global analysis of the current faecal sludge management situation to identify constraints.
To propose solutions and potential improvements for the identified constraints, for the short-, medium- and long-terms for each area or for unique solutions if possible, while also globally evaluate the technical, financial, plus the human resource needs and main challenges (technical, cultural, financial, political) for each solution or improvement.
(Optional phase) Amongst the possible solutions, suggest a strategy with detailed workplan/budget/means/actors


The consultant will be recruited by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for a period of 20-30 working days from the 1st of January, 2016 and works under the direct supervision of the WASH Program Manager.



SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL invites consultants to apply for the provision of services as described above. Interested consultants must submit their CV providing information on their capacity and experience showing that they are qualified for the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in similar assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.).

A short list of consultants will be established after the call for expressions of interest and those on the short list will receive the full ToR and annexes. The consultation will follow the rules and procedures of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for the use of Consultants. It is noteworthy that the interest shown by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL for inclusion in the short list.
