Thank you for the post. I find the website very resourceful. A few things I may highlight about the site for anyone who may see this post and not delve into it immediately.
Making Rights Real (MRR) is an approach that enables civil society organisations to engage local government officials on systemic challenges to the realisation of water and sanitation services for all, using human rights. MRR consists of a 3-piece set of MRR materials and six simple steps to working with them.
A challenge that we are facing in WASH is that, “Human rights remains an abstract concept in WASH sector practice that is difficult to integrate into work on the ground.” The solution listed of the MRR approach gives organisations a pragmatic way of integrating human rights into their WASH programmes.
This and other challenges listed, can be addressed by six simple steps highlighted. Take time and go through the website to find out what the steps are.
