  • I am a retired organic farmer and interested in nutrient cycles. As an volunteer I now travel mainly to poor countries and together with locals I would like to find new ways of sustainable agriculture. This is beyond the regulations of IFOAM.

Cambodia on the move....

Hi all,

don't know if anybody of you guys is active in SEA.  I just travel there every year and read quite a few information and have private contact to an Azolla Project, which is quite interesting for me as an old farmer. Very productive plant but not quite the perfect one to clean water since it produces some Nitrogen itself due to some symbionts.
After some border tensions with Thailand the country experienced a tourismus decline in 2025. Obviously, there is a peace agreement now and government and entrepreneurs look into a brighter future. Although Cambodia has strong ties to China the people und the government are very open to western companies, if they offer technology and help in solving there problems. So read this article I post here and perhaps we meet in Siem Reap ;-)

See you,
