Re: Africa Water Week : how and what can we contribute?

Dear SuSanA community,

This is to mention the Business Forum taking place on May 29th, during the 5th Africa Water Week (AfWW) currently running in Dakar, Senegal.

As the theme of this AfWW is "Placing Water at the Heart of the Post 2015 Development Agenda", it is equally important to take an economic perspective on water and sanitation beyond 2015. This challenging field will be addressed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in collaboration with the African Ministers’ Council on Water and the African Union Commission.

Please see the attached pdf for further details on the schedule.

Greetings from the SuSanA secretariat

Re: Joint Learning Initiative discussion at AfWW

IRC is convening a side session at Africa Water Week, aimed at exploring interest from key stakeholders in a joint learning initiative.
A joint learning initiative would strengthen the coherence of an Africa WASH learning agenda, reduce duplication, build on synergies and strengthen the policy impact of learning initiatives.
The side session will explore strategies, modalities and potential partnerships.
See www.ircwash.org/events/side-event-africa...negal-26-28-may-2014 for more information
