Dear Trevor,

I have some details, since I would be attending the week-long event, provided I get visa well in time. I'm attaching some details.

The event will have two days dedicated to conference style sessions, tackling multiple issues under the following sub-themes:
1. Equitable access, universal services
2. Achieving health outcomes with WASH
3. Sustaining services and outcomes.

There will also be three days dedicated to training workshops on a range of WASH topics.

I suggest, you choose your sub-topics from the above themes.

Regards,

Re: WASH 2014 Conference, 24-28 March 2014, Brisbane, Asustralia

Dear all

I had a chat the other day with Peter Dwan from WaterAid Australia, and he said that he would let the SuSanA secretariat know about the details of this conference.

To have a SuSanA side event at this conference would be great! At this point, I can say that the Secretariat would be happy to open it up for discussion, the following initial questions would need to be tackled:

1. What should the side event focus on?
2. How could the side event fit in the conference program?
3. Which local (from the region) SuSanA partner would take a lead on organising the side event, with some assistance from the Secretariat?

We need some more details on the conference content to discuss this further. Or alternatively we need to find out if we can make suggestions on what should be included content wise in the conference?

Anyone with further information to share on the conference, please do so.
Kind regards
Trevor
