It was a pleasure to participate and network with sector stalwarts and pioneers of various initiatives pertaining to  #Water  and  #Sanitation  at large. The Secretariat on its association in the  #IWWA   #Annual   #Convention  presented coalition’s work with multiple partners in the sector, through an exhibition along with presentations and a panel discussion with sector specialists and government hierarchies present on the dais.

The Secretariat had organized a session on “Scaling up and Sustainability of Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) in Urban and Rural areas”, also delivered a presentation on “Urban-Rural Linkages” following with partner presentation by  Ecosan Services Foundation, India  on "Co-treatment of Septage at STP" addressing the dignitaries on the dais Dr. Jairaj Pathak IAS (Retd), Director General AIILSG Mumbai ; Shri. Abhay Mahajan IAS, Secretary, Divyang Welfare Department & Mission Director, SWSM (SBM-G), Govt of Maharashtra; Mr  Sujoy Mojumdar , WASH Specialist UNICEF India ; Dr. Bhakta Kabi Das, Chief Engineer-cum Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Govt of Orissa; Mr.  Depinder Kapur , Director, Water Program Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi ; Ms.  Utkarsha Kavadi , Director Maharashtra Urban WASH- ES Coalition  by  Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES), AIILSG, Mumbai ; Mr.  Dhawal Patil , General Manager Ecosan Services Foundation, India ; Ms.  Jigisha Jaiswal , Sr. Research Associate, Centre for Water and Sanitation Center for Water and Sanitation (CWAS), CRDF, CEPT University .

The 3 days of  #IWWA  Annual Convention was supported by “Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, Jal Jeevan Mission,  UNICEF India  and Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency” with a thematic approach to  #sustainable   #management  . The Annual Convention was a great platform for sharing of information and a cross-learning among every one present. The secretariat of  Maharashtra Urban WASH- ES Coalition  is committed to offer sectoral advantage to partners by building and facilitating mutli-sectoral and multi-stakeholder partnerships through "3Cs - Collaboration, Co-location and Co-creation ".
