Warren Simangolwa's recent SLH blog talks about how sanitation marketing is still often missing in sanitation demand creation strategies. Relying too heavily on CLTS enforcement creates sustainability problems in the long-term. He suggests that there is a need to share learning around successful sanitation marketing experiences that empower community members.

The 2nd National Sanitation Summit to be hosted by the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation on the 18th and 19th of November 2022 at the Mulungushi Conference Centre in Lusaka. The theme for this year’s summit is “Sanitation Economy: Making the Invisible Visible” with the slogan “Collective Action towards Sustainable Sanitation Economy and WASH Services for All.”
