Dates: 23th July, 2021
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM IST
Venue: Online

Realizing the need of addressing the issues surrounding scheduled desludging and demand-based desludging in a comprehensive manner, and sustainable solutions, the  School of Water and Waste, AAETI (a unit of CSE)  is organizing a webinar on "Understanding the desludging models in Urban Settings: What works and what doesn’t work? " on 23rd July 2021. It will be a two hours webinar with experience sharing from national and international experts.

The proposed webinar is a unique attempt to systematically understand the current state of desludging arrangements nationally and internationally. How a city can decide what suits best for them in terms of desludging and step by step approach to implement the same. It is hoped that this webinar will act as an important guidance to various other cities who are striving hard to institutionalize FSM  to know their experiences that will allow better implementation of novel and tailored desludging models in ULBs.
