The Zambia Water Forum and Exhibition (ZAWAFE) brings together many experts, institutions and stakeholders from the WASH sector in Zambia, the Sub-Saharan Region and from across the globe to share information, exchange ideas, and network on water resources management and development and water supply and sanitation topics. This year’s ZAWAFE is being held physically at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre and virtually on Zoom due to Covid-19 restrictions. 

The theme for this year’s 9th ZAWAFE is “Innovative Action for Water and Sanitation: leaving no one behind”. 

Participation and engagement at this annual event has continued to grow over the years with increased stakeholder engagement from key sector institutions, including the Government through the Ministry of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection (MWDSEP), the National Water Supply and Sanitation Council (NWASCO), water utilities, international organisations, NGO’s, private sector, learning institutions and community representatives.

In spite of the global pandemic, the exhibitions seek to bring out innovative and cost-effective strategies and solutions to address gaps in the WASH space. Register to catch the ongoing presentations and keynote speeches from various professional experts aimed at bringing out and discussing innovative solutions on different cross-cutting issues in the sector.
