-Carbon redirection for energy recovery coupled with nutrient removal and recovery
-Intensified treatment and compact footprint processes for resource recovery
-Resource-oriented and -enabled sanitation concepts in developed and developing countries
-Connecting water, energy, and irrigation in infrastructure planning
-Decentralized resource recovery in urban and rural communities
-Urine source separation and reuse
-Planning and implementation of next-generation resource recovery, wastewater treatment and sanitation
-Monetization, financing and policy-making to foster resource-recovery driven circular economies

The 2^nd International Resource Recovery Conference will take place at Columbia University in New York from August 5^th-9^th, 2017.

The call for abstracts is now open. Abstract submission is encouraged from areas including, but not limited to energy, nutrients, carbon, and biobased products recovery. Abstracts due January 31^st.
