The Sanitation Learning Hub has recently launched a live online course through the Institute of Development Studies short course programme, offering theoretical and practical advice on photography for people working in the WASH sector.
Participants will learn through a mixture of presentations, group discussion and individual homework tasks.

The course will include:
This builds on excellent work done elsewhere in the sector, including the SuSanA discussion series .
The course is offered on three separate sets of dates - register before 20th May to join the June course .
Thanks,
Alice

The course will include:
- a grounding in visual literacy – how photos can be ‘read’ and interpreted as positive and negative
- the importance of caption-writing
- an exploration of GEDSI (gender equality, disability and social inclusion) principles.
This builds on excellent work done elsewhere in the sector, including the SuSanA discussion series .
The course is offered on three separate sets of dates - register before 20th May to join the June course .
- June course: 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th June (9am – 12pm)
- July course: 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th July (1pm – 4pm)
- August course: 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th August (9am – 12pm)
