CSE-NMCG Online Training Programme on Decentralised Wastewater Treatment and Local Reuse - Issues, Challenges & Potential; 7-22 October
The Centre for Science and Environment under the NMCG-CSE Capacity Building Initiative is launching a capacity building initiative on - ‘Making water sensitive cities in Ganga basin’ aimed at improving river health/flows'. Under this initiative, CSE is organizing an Online Training Programme on Decentralised Wastewater Treatment and Local Reuse- Issues Challenges & Potential from 7th - 22nd October 2021.
About the training
The training will focus on cost effective decentralised wastewater treatment and local reuse - a key area of intervention for mainstreaming water-sensitive urban design and planning (WSUDP) at different scales in a city.
Aim
To build the knowledge about concepts and potential of decentralized wastewater treatment including local reuse of treated wastewater.
Training Highlights
Total duration of this online training is 16 hours - to be delivered in hybrid format: 8 hours (self-paced) on Moodle online platform and 8 hours (virtual interactive sessions: 2 hours each x 4 no’s) spread over two weeks.
