WSSCC is hiring a Research Support Specialist with excellent knowledge of the WASH sector

Dear colleagues and partners,

WSSCC is hiring a Leave No One Behind- Human Rights to Water and Sanitation Research Support Specialist – Homebased consultancy (28 days). The LNOB/HRWS Support Specialist will be tasked with the organization of a webinar to present the Report to UNGA of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education on Interdependencies between the human rights to water and sanitation, and the right to education in the context of COVID-19 responses and related guidelines (produced with support from WSSCC); prepare a report of the webinar, and perform additional tasks related to LNOB programme research and policy dialogue outputs related to human rights to water and sanitation in the context of COVID-19.

The consultant should have a solid academic and professional background related to the human rights to water and sanitation and to the SDGs, very good knowledge of the WASH sector, and a well developed network of contacts with UN and non UN organizations in the WASH and education sectors. He/she must have excellent analytical and writing skills in the previously mentioned areas, and also previous experience in promoting visibility and policy dialogue of research findings in related areas.

The selected applicant should be readily available to start the assignment.
