Regarding the online course, is the schedule flexible? - Yes, it is in a self study mode. You can do it when you want. we shall have few live sessions, which shall be organized keeping in mind the time zones.
how many hours do we need to commit per week?- Usually total course demands 24 hours over 2 weeks inclusive live sessions

CSE's fellowship based upcoming training on toilet design, faecal sludge management and water management in rural areas

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Greetings from Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi.

The coronavirus pandemic teaches us that everybody must have access to public health and clean water, so that nobody is left out and nobody can be the carrier of the virus. We know that massive numbers of people in our rural regions do not have access to clean water. But what is worse is that if we do not safely treat and reuse faecal sludge, it will end up contaminating the available sources of water, reducing supply or adding to the health burden of communities. This is why this work becomes so critical, particularly in the COVID-19 world.

CSE has launched an "Global Online Training Course Toilet Technologies and Faecal Sludge and Water Management in Rural Areas" between February 20 to March 6, 2021.
The course comprises self-study, technological learning tools such as presentations and audios and videos featuring case studies. The training will provide with online forums and discussions where ever required. Quizzes and assignments will be part of this programme. The course will facilitate the participants to interact and learn from selected experts through planned live sessions.

Please view the following link to know about the course:
www.cseindia.org/toilet-technoogies-and-...in-rural-areas-10615
Online registration for the course has started.

We invite you all to participate and carry back the learnings to the field. We will be offering full fellowship to the participants. They need to contact the coordinator of the course with their CVs and letter of nomination from the head of the department. We need an undertaking from the head of the department that the participants will finish the course within the stipulated time. Please find enclosed the training brochure for your kind perusal.
