Our names are Hokuma Karimova and Piotr Wielezynski. This July we received our Master's in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility from EOI in Madrid. Before applying for any job, we wanted volunteer in the field of water and sanitation.
In the past, Hokuma has worked with Tetra Tech on a USAID project that focused on drinking water standards of partner countries. Piotr has volunteered with 'Un Techo Para Mi Pais' helping build homes for the poorest families in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition, we both focused our Master's thesis on Food Waste at the retail level (which is directly responsible for vasts amount of water loss). You can see our final presentation at this link:
Together we have much to offer, have experience in media communication, and speak 8 languages. We are not looking to get paid (a basic stipend for food/lodging is sufficient), and above all want to contribute to society, especially to those who are less fortunate. We hope that any NGO, foundation or individual doing research in these fields, who is interested in having volunteer assistance would contact us.
