The water thematic subconsultations start next Monday, 14.01. 2013, under the coordination of the UN-Water, UN-DESA and Unicef. The process will be open for 5 weeks, until 10.02.2013.

The sub-consultations are under the following themes:

Wastewater Management and Water Quality
Led by UN Habitat, Aquafed, FAO, UN ELAC, UNEP, UNSGAB, and the International Water Association.

Water Resources Management, IWRM, Water Efficiency, and Security
Led by UNECE, FAO, GWP, IUCN, UN DESA, UNDP, UN ELAC, UNEP, UN ESCAP, WBCSD, and WWF

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
Including the unfinished agenda, sustainability, safety, and financing. Led by UNICEF, UN-Habitat, WHO, OHCHR, and UNECLAC.
