Dear all,

I am currently advising the Vietnamese Government (Ministry of Construction) on the issue of how to integrate the approach to "Decentralised Waste Water Treatment" (DWWT) into their legal framework on a national level.

We have developed an number of ideas (based on experiences in Vietnam, which may differ remarkably from other places), and now have the chance to come up with proposals that would endorse the idea of DWWT in a national legal document.

I wonder if you have gained comparable experiences, or may even have access to relevant, legal documents on a national (framework) level in a developing country . And even more important: what are your experiences? Did it pay off? Did it work? Did it meet resistance during enforcement? etc.
Any kind of feed back on this issue would be more than welcome, thanks!
