Cartoon Competition for World Water Day in India: Help Break the Taboo around Sanitation! And the winners are...

We invite you to submit your creative and fun ideas about toilets and sanitation in the form of
- Cartoons
- Caricatures

- Infographics

that will create a humorous atmosphere around sanitation concerns.




Deadline: March 10, 2014

Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 entries:
1st Prize of ₹ 50,000 Rupees
2nd Prize of ₹ 20,000 Rupees
3rd , 4th and 5th prizes of ₹ 5.000 respectively.

The awards will be presented on UN-Water World Water Day: March 22, 2014.

Dear SuSanA community,

We would like to announce that we have extended the deadline to 12 March, 2014 (midnight Indian Standard Time) for submissions of cartoon, caricature or infographic to help break the sanitation taboo.

Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 entries:

Thank you for all the contributions for the Break the Taboo around Sanitation Cartoon Competition! We received over 90 cartoon submissions overall for the competition. These unique submissions were created by both professional cartoonists and non-professionals from across the world!

SuSanA should try to get these featured in the media. The Guardian and the BBC both regularly feature image slideshows, one would think these would work in that format.
