Thank you for your questions related to the TPS conference!

There are a number of disciplines which are targetted with the call for abstracts.
As a coorganiser of the TPS Conference, I want to mention the themes covered by the conference:

Overall TPS systems and system design
TP soils – historical and modern aspects
Soil fertility and food security
Intensification of organic farming
New insight to plant-soil interaction(endocytosis)
Land use, reforestation, reversing erosion
Greywater in TPS – Bamboo, short rotation plantation, constructed wetlands
Logistic and operation
Microbiology, sanitization and lactic acid fermentation
Carbon composting of biowaste and excreta
Wood gas technology for energy and char coal production
Pyrolysis vs. hydrothermal carbonization

We know that many institutions have started a number of activities related to Terra preta with and without human excreta, biochar production, agriculture. With the conference, we are aiming at bringing these researchers, practitioners and interested people together to share the experiences on the different aspects of this new topic.

Please see www.tps-ic.org for further information,

best regards
Claudia
