Position Description: - Closing Date 28 February, 2012

Position Title: Sanitation Project Officer

Project: Gates Foundation Support to AMCOW to Influence Sanitation Policy

Selection Criteria
- Minimum Education: MSc in Engineering or Sciences related to water resources
- Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years' practical experience
(preferably in an international organization) in community development projects related to water resources and sanitation. Proven experience in working as both a leader and a member of teams, preferably with multinational composition.
- Strong computer skills, and fluency in both English and French.
Abiility to analyze data, write and present good technical reports.
- Good understanding of AMCOW, its mission and operations.
In-depth knowledge of social,political and development issues in Africa, particularly as they relate to the work of AMCOW.

Duration: 3 years

Location: AMCOW Secretariat, Abuja, Nigeria.

Management and Reporting
The Sanitation Project Officer will on a day-to-day basis work directly under the AMCOW Program Coordinator
