Re: Webinar: WASHing Away Diseases, Two Hands at a Time: February 18, 2016 at 9 am EST - USAID WASHplus project

Last week the Global Public-Private Partnership for Handwashing (PPPHW) co-hosted a webinar with the USAID WASHplus project to discuss the importance of integrating water, sanitation, and hygiene to combat neglected tropical diseases, and to address the need for new approaches for multi-sector initiatives to promote equity, poverty alleviation, health, and well-being. If you missed the webinar or would like to view it again, the recording is available on YouTube.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in attending the USAID WASHplus webinar. The webinar will begin at 9 am EST on the 18th, as indicated on the flyer. I registered and found no discrepancy with the time in the confirmation. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Webinar: WASHing Away Diseases, Two Hands at a Time: February 18, 2016 at 9 am EST - USAID WASHplus project

Some of the team here are interested to join, but the time on the flyer, 9am EST (which would be 10pm SGT), is different from the time on the auto-generated google calendar note (6am SGT), and different again from the time received in the confirmation email which was 10pm CST.

Is anyone able to confirm the time of the webinar, or is there someone we can contact?

Thanks

Dear Bijan,

thanks for posting this on the forum. Looks very interesting - I have just registered for it (even though it will be late for me - it will be midnight in Australia...)

I see you have a lot of speakers, six people - will there be enough time for questions from the audience? Could you say something about the agenda - is it for one hour or longer?
If I have interpreted all the first names correctly, you have 5 females and 1 male - now that's an unusual gender balance - so often it is the other way around. ;-) Perhaps at USAID more females are working in the top positions or working on these hygiene type topics. :-)

Regards,
Elisabeth
